Senior Third Party Funding Acquisition Specialist (f/m/d)*
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Identification and interpretation of funding opportunities aligned with applicants’ scientific and leadership goals.
- Demand-driven support for proposal preparation for specific funding lines and support for consortium setup, communication, and collaboration.
- Liaison with funders to ensure institutional compliance and up-to-date funder information.
- Coordination with IT:U post-award, legal, and other services during submission and grant preparation.
- Contributing to the development of grant management tools and processes, awareness-raising and training on third-party funding, and institutional reporting.
- Supporting the IT:U strategy on industrial collaboration, large projects, fundraising, and related areas.
Your strengths and skills:
- Finished University degree (preferred on PhD level) in MINT, Life sciences or Social sciences areas.
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in research grants preparation, including strategic planning, proposal drafting and coordination proposal preparation work.
- Demonstrated expertise with public research grants, such as EU Framework Programs, FFG, FWF or overseas funding; proven ability to interpret and apply funders' eligibility rules.
- Good command of MS Office and Confluence or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German on minimum level C1.
- Professional conduct and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and structural skills complemented by attention to detail.
- Highly organised, autonomous and proactive, with a strong service mindset and a proven ability to deliver on time.
