Librarian for Digital University Library (f/m/d)*
40h full-time | On-site in Linz (AT)
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Licensing and procurement of electronic (literature) resources, including budget monitoring, contract negotiations, and representation of the IT:U Library in the "Kooperation E-Medien Österreich" (KEMÖ).
- Supplier and publisher management: maintaining contacts, evaluating offers, and managing open access licenses.
- Indexing and administration of electronic resources, including metadata management and inventory tracking.
- Support & service: second-level support for users and general administrative tasks (e.g., card management, fee billing, statistics).
- Optional: Teaching information literacy in collaboration with the IT:U Writing Center.
Your strengths and skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Studies or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in licensing electronic resources for academic libraries, completion of librarian training, or an equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working with ALMA and PRIMO
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and German at a minimum C1 level

Competitive compensation starting from € 38.000 yearly gross salary.
