International Office Specialist (f/m/d) *
The International Office Specialist supports and coordinates the operational activities of the International Office, with a focus on student mobility, international partnerships, and the day-to-day administration of international programs. This role is suited for a motivated junior professional with proven Erasmus+ experience who is ready to take ownership of core International Office processes, contribute to the further development of the office, and grow into a more senior role within the area of international affairs.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Support and coordinate outgoing and incoming student and staff mobility processes, including Erasmus+ and other exchange activities.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the International Office and deliver reliable, student-centered services.
- Maintain regular communication with partner institutions and facilitate inter-institutional agreements and exchange procedures.
- Advise and support students and staff on mobility opportunities, applications, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
- Assist in implementing and administering international mobility programs, including nominations, applications, learning agreements, reporting, records, and documentation.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of processes, workflows, templates, and communication structures to professionalize the office.
- Collaborate with internal units and support outreach activities, information sessions, and mobility‑related communication to internal and external audiences.
Your strengths and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training in International Relations, Education, Administration, or a related field.
- Initial relevant professional experience in higher education, international programs, student services, or administration.
- Experience with Erasmus+ is required; familiarity with other international mobility programs is an asset.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and in a structured, solution-oriented manner.
- High level of motivation to take ownership and grow into a more senior role.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills, especially in intercultural settings.
- Strong English skills; German is an asset.
