IT:U Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria is one of the first public universities in Europe dedicated exclusively to the digital transformation of science, business, and society. PostDoc in Human Rights & Technology *
Full-Time | Up to 4 years | On-site in Linz (AT) | Start Date: 1.12.2025
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Conducting academic research
- Writing academic publications
- Attending national and international conferences
- Collaborating with other research groups on an interdisciplinary basis
- Performing auxiliary activities in academic teaching for up to 2 weekly credit hours
- Helping to file applications for third-party funding
- Complying with the institution’s academic standards and ethical guidelines

Your strengths and skills:
- You must have completed a PhD degree (or an equivalent) social sciences, STS, Law, HCI, technology & society research or computer science, or a related field.
- Fluent in English
- Background in human rights and technology research or related research fields preferred.
