Learning Coach (f/m/d)*
Our students learn by working on complex projects in small interdisciplinary teams. As a Learning Coach, you will support these teams in developing the skills and practices they need to work effectively, manage their projects, and take ownership of their learning.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Coach small student teams throughout their project work, supporting effective collaboration and self-organization.
- Guide students in developing their personal and social skills according to the IT:U competence framework.
- Support students in project planning, milestone setting, prioritization, time management, and resource allocation.
- Help teams establish effective ways of working, clarifying roles, and managing challenges and competing priorities.
- Foster team reflection and retrospectives, helping students identify areas for improvement and take ownership of their development.
- Facilitate constructive conversations when disagreements arise, helping students understand different perspectives and work towards solutions.
- Work closely with project educators to align coaching and skills development with curriculum goals.
Your strengths and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training (or equivalent experience) in coaching, pedagogy, psychology, human resources development, education, project management or related field.
- Experience in coaching, facilitation and supporting learning processes, ideally with students or young professionals.
- Strong understanding of group and team dynamics, with experience supporting collaborative work in project-based learning or project environments.
- Good working knowledge of project management, agile methods, and Design Thinking is an asset, with the ability to help students structure, plan, prioritize, and iteratively develop their projects.
- High social competence, strong communication and conflict management skills, as well as knowledge of didactic methods.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging, practical coaching sessions and workshops.
- An open-minded, growth-oriented mindset, with the ability to reflect, adapt to new situations, and continuously learn and develop.
- English skills at a minimum level of C1 required for a clear and structured communication with the students.
