Student Marketing Assistant (f/m/d)*
10h per week | Temporary position (September 2026 till February 2027)
You’re a storyteller and a bridge between students, prospective students, and the university. You spot the stories, questions, and moments that matter, turn them into engaging communication, and help us understand what makes students connect with IT:U.
The ultimate goal is to help strengthen the student community and help the right future students discover, understand, and choose IT:U.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Turn student projects, experiences, and campus life into engaging stories.
- Shoot and edit photos and videos and write copy with personality.
- Spot trends, pitch ideas, and test formats that fit IT:U.
- Encourage and guide people to step on camera and share their stories.
- Support selected fairs, open days, and recruitment activities.
- Talk to prospective students and share an authentic student perspective.
- Bring recurring student questions, concerns, and ideas back to the team.
- Help connect current students, prospective students, and the wider IT:U community.
Your strengths and skills:
- Currently enrolled in a higher education program (University, Fachhochschule, etc.)
- Strong written and spoken English (minimum C1 level)
- Comfortable being on camera and talking to new people
- Excellent photo and video editing skills with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or Canva, and comfortable using AI-assisted content tools
- Curious, reliable, and hands-on
- A sense of humor would be a plus

Competitive compensation starting from € 450.00 gross per month for this 10-hour/week temporary marginal employment position.
