Admissions Administrator (f/m/d)*

Join our team in a central role, guiding and supporting prospective students throughout their application and enrollment journey. By providing a highly personalized, smooth, and inclusive experience, you will help applicants stay informed, feel valued, and confidently choose IT:U as their next academic destination.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and assess admissions applications in line with IT:U’s policies and values to ensure all admission requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate records, produce reports, and perform data analysis within the campus management system to support admissions planning and forecasting.
  • Interpret domestic and international academic qualifications and assess equivalencies.
  • Perform prerequisite assessments and issue offers of admission.
  • Identify students who may need additional support or alternative pathways, ensuring an inclusive approach to education.
  • Represent IT:U at open days and higher education fairs.

Your strengths and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Public Management, HR) and/or a proven track record of professional experience in admissions, student services, academic advising within a higher education institution, or HR recruitment.
  • Strong skills in evaluating applications and supporting candidates throughout their journey.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills with an empathetic, intercultural approach.
  • Strong problem-solver with great organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize under pressure in a team-oriented, open, shared office environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, student information systems, and videoconferencing software (e.g. MS Teams).
  • Awareness of GDPR / data protection obligations in student records handling.
  • Knowledge of international qualifications frameworks, widening participation, accessibility, and equity considerations is a strong asset.
  • High proficiency in English (minimum Level C1), German skills are a plus.

Competitive compensation starting from € 43.400 yearly gross salary.
